Most headlight lenses are made of polycarbonate plastic. This strong plastic is perfect for taking on harsh road conditions without breaking, which you definitely want, but it doesn’t play well with the sun. To protect it initially, manufacturers coat the lenses with a UV protective film. But over time this film is destroyed by UV rays, allowing the plastic to oxidize.
Service details:
-Sanitized the headlight to remove all the dirt and debris to preventing any damage and scratch to the headlight.
-We will cover the area outside the headlight to prevent damaging the car paint
-Sand down the headlight to remove all of the debris and the plastic that's oxidized.
-Polish the headlight with proper product depending on the type of headlight materials
-Code the headlight with UV protection to last longer and prevent future oxidize.
